Spring Update

We recently completed our yearly clean out of the range backstop reclaiming 3,251 lbs of lead and over 500 lbs of brass shell casings. This brought in over $1,800 for the club. Thanks to the crew of Wes Eddy, Ken Hawkinson, Jim Maline, Brad Barnett, Ron Busser, Keith Lauerhass, Carl Eichler, Bob Gambon, Craig Novak, Josh Novak, Angello Ciancibello, Bill Novak, and myself.

Changes to the Range Officer training and qualifications are coming in the next couple of months. There will be just one classification, RSO, instead of the previous two. Refresher classes will no longer be done in person at the club. RSOs wishing to renew their qualifications will take an online test from our website during the summer months of June, July, and August each year. New RSO applicants will still be given the in person class on a case by case basis. Full details will be explained in the next couple of months and we expect to implement the program at the June general meeting.
